Our student exchange programme is designed for students to focus primarily on coursework and secondly

Students will also need energy to adjustto a new environment, learn about the host university and experience a different part of the world! As such,
jobs, voluntary internships or industrial attachments are not allowed for Non-Graduating students. Students who wish to embark on an internship while in Singapore should plan to have it after completion of their
coursework and have their employer apply for a training employment pass on their behalf.
Does NUS provide for students with special needs or disabilities? How
does NUS help students with special needs or disabilities?
NUS tries its best to assist and accommodate students with special needs. The NUS Registrar's Office
coordinates arrangements for students with special needs and should be informed as soon as possible via
email nghelp@nus.edu.sg with a request for special assistance. NUS cannot guarantee that it will offer the
same special arrangements made by your home university but it will examine each student's case on an
individual basis. Therefore, notifying the Registrar's Office as soon as possible is important so as to not
delay your application.
Students with physical disabilities should note that NUS' Kent Ridge Campus is situated on a hill which can
pose accessibility challenges. Please consult the Registrar's Office for advice.

We strongly discourage students from arriving late.. Accommodation move-in, registration, adding and
dropping of courses, Student Pass paperwork, orientation and social activities are all carefully planned
before the start of classes to allow for a smooth transition into life at NUS and missing these would cause you unnecessary work and stress. Students are encouraged to plan to arrive in time for their scheduled
registration day and during the check-in period for their accommodation.
If your late arrival is unavoidable, please write to NUS Registrar's Office, the Faculty/ School that you have
been assigned to, and Office of Housing Services (if you have been allocated on campus housing) to notify
them of your late arrival.
I would like to seek employment at NUS.
